All You Need To Know About “Danny Beatz”

Known in real life as Daniel Owusu Agyapong, Danny Beatz is a former student of Awudome 4 Junior High School (J.H.S), Modern College of Science and Technology (MOTESCO, SHS & College), Noel Technology Institute and finally studied Telecommunication Engineering in school. He started singing at the age of 5 and fell in love with music when he was twelve years old. His passion for music got him sneaking to studios when he was studying at Awudome 4 JHS whiles he was into beat boxing as well (using his mouth and beating tables to create beats). Later he realized out of the beat boxing he can extend it on the computer and make it more professional by creating good beats and started recording artists. Through hard work and determination he gain recognition through the production of Guru’s Nkwadaa Nkwadaa which featured Dobble.
There after he recorded artists such Dobble, Pope Skinny, Gasmilla, Tutulapato, Iwan, AK Songstress, Mzbel and many others. He was brought up listening to Reggae and Highlife under the influence of his father at home and later discovered his ability to write and compose his own music. His first major label was Paradise Entertainment under which he released his first official single “Yensa Mbom” which featured Ticles. Also under the label, he produced AK Songstress’ hit single “Funky Fresh”.
He later released “Nyame Nsa Ano” (Explaining the goodness of God in his life) and he featured Guru, one of the prolific hiplife/hiphop artiste in Ghana.
Danny Beatz was nominated as the Best Sound Engineer at the 2015 Bass Award.
With the original song making waves all over, a remix of “Yensa Mbom” featuring a Belgium based Ghanaian AfroBeat artist Bizzy Salifu, titled “Kpalogo Dance” was borne. It followed up with a collaboration and produced the song “Me Like The Way” for Bizzy Salifu.
Currently the buzzing musician/producer is signed on to African Prince Records and RuffTown Records. His first single released under the label is “Mede Kuku” which featured the late Ebony Reigns and produced “Date Ur Fada and Hustle” (Me Di Wo Dwa) also for the late Ebony Reigns.
