Culture Management Group (CMG) is thrilled to unveil the highly anticipated headliners and musical lineup for Culture Beach Jam 2024, the ultimate celebration of all things Africa. This two-day experience will take place on December 28-29, 2024 at the iconic Polo Beach Club in Accra, Ghana, transforming the coast into a world of creativity and culture.
This year, Culture Beach Jam’s lineup includes musical icons like Omah Lay, King Promise, DJ Tunez, Kidi, Shallipopi, Joey B , Sabrina, Olive the Boy and Ara the Jay, who will bring their distinct sounds and electrifying performances to the world stage. In addition to these
celebrated headliners, the winner of AfroFuture’s Rising Star Challenge will have the opportunity to perform at Culture Beach Jam, giving attendees an authentic glimpse into the continent’s emerging musical talent.
To further enhance the festival experience and highlight the continued commitment to uniting the African diaspora, CMG has partnered with Afreximbank, Berry Health, and Verna Water, and teamed up with Black Health Connect and Distant Relatives, as programming partners.
In the lead-up to the main event, CMG will host several impactful programs to foster community engagement and support African creatives:
- The Continent Live Music Program (December 15-21, 2024): This one-week music camp includes a three-day songwriting camp with a diverse group of musicians, songwriters, and producers. Participants range from emerging artists who ranked in the Top 5 of the AfroFuture Rising Star Challenge to established acts, all coming together to create exceptional music and foster meaningful collaborations and networking. Attendees will have the opportunity to receive media and press training, equipping them with essential skills for their careers. Additionally, the program will feature a Music Day in partnership with the British Council with masterclasses covering key industry topics such as contracting, management, and finance as well as a music showcase to provide a comprehensive learning experience.
- Annual Community Health Fair (December 27, 2024, 10 AM – 2 PM, Zurak Park, Madina): In collaboration with Black Health Connect and Distant Relatives, CMG will provide free health services, including screenings and mental health consultations, to approximately 1,500 community members. The fair will also activate AfroFuture Feed, providing free meals for attendees.
- BAL Celebrity Basketball Game (December 27, 2024, 1 PM, Bukom Boxing Arena): Organized by the Basketball Africa League (BAL) and presented by Hennessy, Afrofuture has curated this exciting game which will feature BAL players alongside artists and celebrities, blending sports and entertainment for an impactful community experience.
- The African Dream Focus Group (December 30, 2024): In partnership with Gensler, this focus group will unite leaders across sectors to collaboratively explore strategies for achieving the “African Dream.” With contributions from students, industry professionals, government officials, and investors, this initiative seeks to foster dialogue and inspire actionable solutions for Africa’s future.
