Comedian and “Nonfa” King Ajeezay has revealed that he is the face behind the popularity of social media entertainers Shatta Bundle, Mr Eventuary and Gh Tupac.
He disclosed in an interview with Sir Roy on RadioGIJ’s weekend train, that he had made these social media entertainers see fame by his hype on social media.
He also says the emergence of Social Media entertainers is not responsible for the reduced patronage of traditional arts in the country.
Although some people say that the emergence of social Media entertainers such as shatta bundle, eventuari and the likes is uneccesary and has been the reason for people not patronizing the works of the traditional entertainment industry, Ajeezay believes that this is not true.
Social Media according to him is the best place to sell every brand and idea and the good use of it would amount to getting the needed attention.
He further added that the art of comedy is not just a talent but also a craft that can be learnt.
According to him, although some people are born with the art, they fail to use it because of a lack of nurturing. However others who go ahead to learn the art according to him are likely to succeed in the industry because of training gained in the pfield.
He has currently released a cover of Stonebwoy’s “Kpokeke” titled “Kpokeke Gospel” aimed at lovers of gospel music jam to the song.
