Osagyefo Entertainment is a Ghanaian record label in Accra established in 2001 to nurture and promote music talents. Its Spearheaded by Emmanuel Joe Lartey also known in the Showbiz circle as Osagyefo Or Joe States.
Osagyefo Entertainment teams up with his artiste King Jerry to dish out this beautiful and timeless music which they dubbed “Afi” which literally means New Year a song for the Ga-Dangbe to celebrate their upcoming festival Homowo.

Homowo is a harvest festival celebrated by the Ga people of Ghana in the Greater Accra Region. The festival starts at the end of April into May with the planting of crops (mainly millet) before the rainy season starts. The Ga people celebrate Homowo in the remembrance of the famine that once happened in their history in precolonial Ghana.

The word Homowo (Homo – hunger, wo – us) can mean “to hoot (or jeer) at hunger” in the Ga language.
King Jerry has been one of the multi-talented afrojama artiste with its empathetic and soul-stirring spirit.

King Jerrys honeyed vocals and seamless mix of Ga with English create an enchanting experience as he expresses the journey of Ga Tradition, from Unity and love and homowo is been celebrated. Produced by King Ford (De General) and mixed by Ubeatz and Dan Grahl, ‘AFI’ reaffirms King Jerry’s mastery as an artist, leaving us joyous and in love with his audacious musical stylings once more.
