Sean Taylor — the Osu Dancehall President has made a bold move to drop a maiden EP after severa years of defending the genre.He announces a 6-tracked EP titled “Osu Tape” due for early 2021 release in January.Sean Taylor is a very visible name in Ghanaian Dancehall history who is in good standing of the sound juggling and toasting culture.Along with the EP announcement are some promotional photos he has released as part of a rebrand process ahead of the full roll out.
“I’ve named it ‘Osu Tape’ because I want to project my identity as an African youth from Osu — a very vibrant suburb in the heart of Accra, Ghana’s very own capital city. It’s very much needed to highlight where I come from with my very first collective, the project features other talented artistes who hail from Osu or have a very strong connection to the suburb.
