Miss Osu 2022.
After 4 years it been inactive, the youth led program for the women in the Osu community, Miss Osu is here again. Page 233 Group an entity which aims to support the growth of women through Media, Culture and Tourism has come in collaboration with the Osu Stool to organise this years pageant.
Miss Osu is fundamentally a night packed with a bouquet of cultural and historic renditions which sees to promote the Youth in the community and support their projects. This has created a platform for women in the community to research problems and bring solutions to them.
The event which was held before COVID 19 hosted about 2000 attendants. With a significantly huge increase in the number of attendants each year, we anticipate about 3000 people at the event this year “Says the chairman of Page 233 Group”.
He further stated that this years’ pageant will support the women through various ways like supporting them with scholarship to University, promoting their businesses/projects, helping them raise funds to support their project and connecting historical cities to Osu as written in history books.
The projects for this year will focus on innvovating tourism and how Osu can benefit from the Destination Ghana which was launched by the President of Ghana in UK. With beautiful architecture, historical monuments and rich culture and good night life experiences, Osu can be mapped on the globe and fetch more money to the community and Ghana at large. Projects from these ladies will be supported and massively funded.
This pageant is open to all women in the Osu community. Women who are 18 to 25 years and are of sound mind and can speak the Ga language fluently can pick an audition form at Osu CDR or Osu Night market or can call the following numbers.

The audition form costs GHS 20 and can be purchased also on the grounds of the audition.
Deadline for form pickup is June 8, 2022.
It is anticipated that this years’ pageant will host 20 ladies who will then be selected by votes for 10 finalists.
The 10 finalists will be housed and climax the pageant on September 10, 2022 with cultural and educational display.
