Full name is Mutari Amina popularly known as Ami Agbaa Born on the 11th of may 1990 breastfeeded and raised in Northern Region Tamale.She started her movie carrier in 2010 in which she shot one scene in Ghanaian movie in Dagbani by Title ALIMATU And in 2011′ she was featured in movie a movie by Title AGBAA means 12:00 which she played the main character in that movie. She got nominated at Kumawood awards in the category of the Overall Best Actress Of the year 2012 and by his grace she won her category.
In 2015, she came out with her own movie by Title N’DUMA M’MI means MY LORD KNOWS Which was her own story and was produced by herself and was nominated as overall Best Actress and Best story of the year in 2016. And unfortunately she lost her categories,.
She then came out with a movie herself by Title MALMI N’DOO YILI means MAINTAIN MY MARITAL HOME which was massive and that got her nominated for the overall Best Actress Of the year 2017 and won that category. She featured in many action movies like 30 DAYS, N’PINI(MY GIFT), ALIWANKA, M’MA NYAVILI (MY MOTHER’S LIFE) just to mention but few. And in 2017 she came out with her own production called AGBAA PRODUCTION She produced a movie by Title WUN ZALGU(GOD’S WILLING) that she was featured in and was the main character which she again got nominated for the Overall Best Actress Of The year and won it again at the just gone 2018 Northern Entertainment Awards.
So Currently she’s the Overall Best Actress now in the three Northern Regions.
Ami Agbaa and the production is set to release action movies this year and they are going across the Nation, it wouldn’t matter the language because all her movies have Subtitles.
