Sensational singer King Jerry shared his thoughts during an interview with Marshall on LaTV’s Front Bench, addressing several issues within the Ga community.
King Jerry pointed out that although artists like King Promise and Darko Vibes are of Ga descent, they rarely sing in Ga because they believe Ga songs don’t sell well.
He also expressed frustration with the TGMA (The Ghana Music Awards), accusing them of overlooking Ga musicians during nominations. He emphasized how people enjoy their music, yet they are consistently ignored for nominations due to their language.
King Jerry is currently promoting his new single, “Ololoolo,” which is performing well.
