The Metropolitan Chief Executive (MCE) for Tamale, Iddrisu Musah insists that the talent of Mujahid Ahmed Bello, known popularly as Fancy Gadam is a waste and danger to the Tamale Metropolis.

Fans and management of the Tamale-based artiste are calling on the Mayor to retract and apologize for comments to the effect that he [Fancy Gadam] is using human blood to enrich his talent.

MyNewsGH.com monitored the ‘angry’ Mayor’s comments “Fancy Gadam is an irresponsible talent. We are not going to allow one single individual to take Tamale to ransom. His talent is a danger to the people of Tamale. Do you want to use the blood of the people to make money? We will not allow it!” he said, very angrily.

But an angry Iddrisu Musah rather described the musician as irresponsible who must be put to check to avert the needless deaths within the Tamale Metropolis.

“The top top musicians we are having in Accra anytime they having any concert we do this. Why will Fancy Gadam do this? Why will Fancy Gadam do that? Such irresponsible lawless young man full of talent but his talent is a waste and a danger to Tamale. We are not going to allow that to continue”, he vowed.

His outburst is borne out of 8 people who died and 20 others got injured when a convoy of Fancy Gadam had an accident on their way to welcome Patoranking to Tamale, where he was billed to perform with the self-acclaimed King of Northern music, Fancy Gadam last weekend.

Zylofon cash staff were among the deceased persons.

On their way to the airport to meet Patoranking, the heavy convoy of cars and motorbikes collided with a truck and other vehicles following the truck hit a pile up leading to the death of 8 people.
