The Perez Dome in Dzorwulu came alive with electrifying energy as the first edition of the Urban Gospel Festival Dance Battle 2025 saw nine top-tier dance teams from across the country go head-to-head in an epic showdown of creativity, rhythm, and gospel-inspired movement.
After three thrilling rounds that featured an array of dance styles from hip-hop and Afro dance to contemporary gospel interpretations it was Flames Dance Company that blazed their way to victory, clinching the 1st place position and the ultimate bragging rights as champions of the maiden edition.
Coming in at a well-deserved 2nd place was BMS Dance Ministry, whose synchronization and spiritual storytelling left a lasting impression on the judges and audience alike. Dance Dimension earned 3rd place, while Incredible Afro closely followed in 4th, showcasing the high level of competition and talent present throughout the contest.

• Bra Kweku – Renowned dance director of The Parables, bringing a wealth of artistic and choreographic experience to the table.
The Urban Gospel Festival Dance Battle 2025 not only celebrated dance excellence but also created a powerful platform for merging faith and artistry. Each team brought their A-game, delivering spirited performances that echoed the core of gospel music and ministry through movement.
