I Have Helped So Many Creatives Travel – Alordia

Renowned Ghanaian event and music promoter Nii Ofori Tackie Tetteh, better known as Alordia, has shared insights into his significant contributions to the growth of Ghanaian music by facilitating travel opportunities for artists to Europe.

In a recent interview on Hot FM’s entertainment segment, hosted by Awula Naa Kwarley, Alordia opened up about his dedication to helping artists expand their horizons internationally. According to him, he has been instrumental in assisting numerous Ghanaian musicians, such as King David, Tinny, Adane Best, and Nii Funny, in their travels abroad, ensuring they get exposure and opportunities to connect with global audiences.

Alordia also recounted how he recently aided Bukom Banku, the popular Ghanaian boxer and entertainer, with his travels. Despite his support, Bukom Banku later credited other individuals for the assistance without acknowledging Alordia’s role. Responding to this, Alordia expressed no bitterness. “I’m not worried at all,” he stated, highlighting his selfless approach to supporting talents, even when recognition is not forthcoming.

Looking forward, Alordia revealed exciting plans for this year’s Ghana Music Awards UK, which will mark its 9th edition. The event, a significant fixture on the Ghanaian music calendar, celebrates the contributions of Ghanaian musicians both at home and in the diaspora.

He also hinted at showcasing prominent acts like Shatta Wale and rising talents such as Blakid during the event. This year’s edition will be bigger and better,” he promised, emphasizing his goal of continuously elevating Ghanaian music on the international stage.

Over the years, Alordia has built a reputation as a pivotal figure in the Ghanaian music industry. His efforts to promote artists and organize high-profile events like the Ghana Music Awards UK have contributed immensely to the global recognition of Ghanaian music and culture.

Alordia’s strong dedication to the music industry and its artists shows he is a leader in connecting Ghanaian music with the rest of the world.
