Shatta Wale Is Not Bigger Than The Law Maurice Ampaw Tells Akufo-Addo

Controversial lawyer, Maurice Ampaw has urged President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo to call Dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale, to order.

Speaking on the sex video of Shatta Wale which stirred a lot of controversy last week, the outspoken lawyer said Shatta Wale is not above the law and the earlier the president calls him to order the better it will be for Ghana.

The President is known to be a fan of Shatta and even invited him to the Flagstaff House.

“For crying out loud Shatta Wale is a role model to the youth and if he is showing his private parts to the world without questioning, who knows what he can do next?

This is not the first time he is misbehaving and I think the president should call him to order,” he told DJ Advisor on Happy FM on Saturday.

In Maurice Ampaw’s opinion, if the law could deal with Ekiki Me hitmaker, Wisa, for showing his manhood on stage then the same law must deal with Shatta Wale.

“The act of videoing a sex act and putting it on social media is a crime which should be condemned in the first place. I therefore call on President Nana Addo to release a statement condemning the act and also ask him to desist from such acts,” he explained.

To him, Shatta Wale does all these brazen things because he feels he knows the ‘big men’ in the country.
