The Ghanaian community in the United States had much to celebrate when Emperor T-Jiga emerged winner of the HIPLIFE/HIP-HOP Song of the Year at the Ghana Music Awards USA 2025. His hit track “Super Star”, featuring Bepor Keddi and Cabrinny Gh, brought the audience to its feet and reminded many of home.
In his acceptance speech, Emperor T-Jiga thanked his fans across Ghana and the diaspora for their unwavering support. “This is for all of us, those in Ghana and those far away but still keeping the music alive,” he said warmly.
His acknowledgment extended to producers, DJs, and content creators who continue to amplify his music globally.
The win was more than personal success; it was a win for the diaspora community, proving Ghanaian music’s strong presence abroad. Adding to the pride, Emperor T-Jiga is currently nominated in two categories at Ghana Music Awards Europe, a sign of his growing international influence.
The diaspora can look forward to more groundbreaking projects as Emperor T-Jiga’s star continues to shine across continents.
